Today, I realized that bringing a Short Sale to completion is one of the most rewarding aspects of my almost three decades in the real estate profession. Each home that is saved helps the individual from foreclosure, the neighborhood from a boarded up/destroyed home and the bank from spending thousands of more dollars than they should have spent. It is a win, win, win, win situation and, yes, that last win included the Realtor's Team.
The last letter our Team received mentioned the fact that we blessed this one couple in California. They prayed a prayer of "thanksgiving" for us on Thanksgiving Day! I don't know that I have ever had that happen before.
The CDPE designation places us in the path of "doing something good for our fellow man". I, for one, am pleased to be a part of the CDPE organization and a positive part of saving America, one home owner at a time.
